The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Event Intake & Prioritization
- Serve as the primary intake point for all Education-related event requests (Global, Regional, and Local).
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify event objectives, target audiences, scope, timelines, and success criteria.
- Evaluate and prioritize requests based on strategic alignment, capacity, and impact.
- Document approved events, requirements, and dependencies to ensure shared understanding across teams.
Event Planning & Project Management
- Act as the project manager for assigned Education events, leading planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and task tracking to ensure events are delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including speakers, facilitators, agendas, materials, platforms, and scheduling.
- Identify risks and dependencies early and proactively manage issues to resolution.
Event Calendar & Resource Management
- Own and maintain the Education event calendar across all regions and formats.
- Ensure visibility into upcoming events, milestones, and resource demands.
- Coordinate staffing and subject matter expert participation across the Education team to support events.
- Balance competing priorities and capacity to prevent conflicts and over-allocation of resources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Field, Enablement, and Regional teams to align Education event plans with broader company initiatives.
- Collaborate with content owners and instructors to ensure event content is accurate, relevant, and ready on time.
- Support promotional alignment by ensuring event details, timelines, and messaging are communicated clearly to stakeholders.
Event Execution & Follow-Up
- Oversee live event execution to ensure smooth delivery and a positive learner experience.
- Coordinate post-event activities such as surveys, follow-up communications, and content distribution.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed and documented after each event.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track event success metrics, including attendance, engagement, learner feedback, and outcome-based measures.
- Analyze results and provide insights and recommendations to improve future Education events.
- Identify patterns and opportunities to streamline processes, improve scalability, and increase impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, learning operations, events, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or events in a learning, education, or corporate environment.
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Comfort managing both virtual and in-person event delivery.
- Familiarity with learning platforms, webinars, or training programs is a plus.
- Willingness to adjust work hours as needed to participate in meetings with US-based team members.
Measures of Success
- Education events are delivered on time, within scope, and with appropriate resourcing.
- Clear visibility and governance of the Education event calendar across regions.
- High stakeholder satisfaction with intake, communication, and execution.
- Demonstrated improvement in event outcomes and learner impact based on measured results.
- Efficient and repeatable processes that reduce friction and improve scale over time.
